End of the Year Family Lunch

Come celebrate the end of the year with your child during lunchtime on June 10. The entire Kindergarten class (200 kids) will be eating lunch on the upper playground on the grass. Please bring a form of shade (umbrella or ez-up) and something to sit on (blanket or chairs). Please bring a lunch for yourself and your family. You may bring your child a special lunch. There will not be parent lunches available for purchase. If your child buys lunch from the cafeteria they will still be able to on the day of. You will be able to set up your spot on the upper playground starting at 11:10; we will go to lunch from 11:20-12:15 and will meet you up there. If you want to take your child home after lunch you MUST sign them out in the office and let the teacher know.Thank you,Kindergarten Team

World Language Summer Camp

Here is a flyer for the World Language Camp being offered by Lakeside Union School District at Winter Gardens. This camp is for the students that are planning to go into a language program in the fall. It is a wonderful program that will jump start their understanding of the different languages.

Hello Families,

The Festival of Arts Committee is in great need of volunteers to help with the set up and take down of art for the district Art Show. If you would like to donate one to three hours of your time, it would be greatly appreciated. Here are the dates:

 May 30 and 31 Set up of art                            

 June 7   Take down of art

Festival of the Arts permission slips are due ASAP. If you do not turn the permission slip in your child will go to another class while we ride on the bus to check out the exhibit. I sent home the permission slip last week. If you lost your copy another one can be found online at Peachjar.

Mother/Son Event

Don't forget the Mother/Son event is on the 19th. The due date so food/supplies can be ordered is May 15th to turn in your Registration Slip and your $20 ($5 each for additional boy). The forms are on Peach Jar at lsusd.net/lv    and then click on the Peachjar icon. (be sure you are on Lakeview's website page or you won't see stuff from our school).

We won!

We won the pasta for pennies contest! All proceeds go to child leukemia research and out reach programs. We raised about $300. Thank you everyone so much for donating to such a wonderful charity! We had our pasta from Olive Garden on Friday. The kids were so excited. I was able to snap a couple of the pictures during the chaos.
