SHOPPE AT FALL CARNIVAL
CALLING ALL 5th GRADE PARENTS J !
Danielle Stein and I have volunteered to chair
this year’s SWEET SHOPPE at our Fall Carnival, this Saturday from 4-8 p.m. As you may or may not know, the proceeds
raised in the Sweet Shoppe each year go towards the fund for our 5th
Grader’s end-of-the-year “Survivor Party,” so we want to make this event as
successful as possible so that our kids can have a GREAT celebration!
Here’s a few ways you can help:
**Donate a Baked Good- Cookies, cupcakes,
brownies, etc. (you will receive carnival tickets for each baked good donated). You may turn them in to Room 3 Friday, before
or after school and Saturday morning 9-11.
**Donate hot chocolate packets, apple cider,
coffee, coffee condiments and styrofoam cups (you will receive carnival tickets
for each donation). Please turn in to
Room 3.
**Volunteer for a 30-minute shift to help in the
Sweet Shoppe Saturday night. We
understand we need at least 3 or 4 people in there at all times to help it run
smoothly (we’re also selling coffee/hot chocolate/apple cider).
Shifts:
Set-up: Saturday Anytime bet. 9
a.m. – Noon and 3:00 - 4:00; 4:00 – 8:00 (any ½ hour shift), and then clean-up

Accelerated Reader
Under the Homework tab books that the AR program approves. If you do not have any of these book, here is a link (Ar Book Finder) to look up the book your child wants to read. I want your child to be reading no lower than their grade level, 5.0 is fifth grade, 4.0 is fourth grade. When looking up the books you see the points available if your child takes the quiz. The higher the points for the quiz the harder the book. Your child will be getting prizes once they reach a certain amount of points.
Performing Lakeside Acting Youth
