4th Grade Research and Inquiry

Here are a couple of photos from today's presentations. The fourth graders were to research a positive effect that plastic had on the medical field, while the fifth graders were to research a social movement that brought about a positive change in US history. If you have a moment ask your child what they did their research and inquiry on.

Research and Inquiry

Here are a couple of videos that I uploaded to YouTube (all student information has been left out). The students were to research and investigate a Chinese or African folktale/fable then create the story through the use of various multimedia tools. The students used iMovie, copyright free pictures, and created a digital graphic organizer before the iMovie process. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Silverwood Wildlife Sanctuary

My class and Mrs. Upchurch's class will be going to the Silverwood Wildlife Sanctuary on Thursday, April 3. We would like to invite all our parents to join us. We will be taking the bus and you will be responsible for your own transportation. I have not received the time schedule yet, but I am assuming the field trip will be from 9 -2 ish. I will let you know once I know. Please email me if you're planning on comping. I would like to have my chaperones assigned to specific students before we get there. I hope to see everyone there!
