Lockdown

I am going to be discussing the lockdown tomorrow with the kids. We have already practiced lockdowns this year either with the school or ones I initiated. Law enforcent wants us to be away from the windows and under our desks. So it is similar to a duck and cover drill. During this time the children may not talk and we cannot use any technology. This class is really good at following my directions so I do not anticipate a problem. Just remind your child why they go under the desk and why we remain quiet. We have and will continue to practice lockdowns and fire drills once a month. We are practicing so we can be prepared in any situation.

Good Morning Everyone,

Everything is going smoothly here. Business as usual :)

I have only received one comfort bag. The letter was sent home before break about the contents and explaining what it was. You can find the flyer on peachjar. The link for peachjar is on Lakeview's homepage or you can find the link on my blog on the left hand side under useful links. Please turn in your comfort bags ASAP. Thank you.
